Farm Tours at Weissman Farms
Our tours are not just about what we grow — they are about why we grow, and what it means to farm in Eretz Yisrael today.
At Weissman Farms, agriculture is not only a livelihood. It is a commitment: to independence, to sustainability, and to the enduring responsibility of Jewish life rooted in the land.
A Living Farm, Not a Demonstration
This is a working farm, and we’re excited to share with you our daily reality of a system we are constantly building, testing, and refining.
We combine traditional farming wisdom with modern agri-tech, exploring how ancient principles can be strengthened — not replaced — by new tools. Our guiding belief is simple: the healthiest food is fresh, local, and grown with intention.
Everything we do is shaped by a deeper set of values.
As Jewish farmers in Israel, we are committed to the mitzvot tied to the land — to growing produce here, in Eretz Yisrael, and to strengthening a food system rooted in Jewish ownership and responsibility.
We believe that local agriculture is not only healthier — it is essential. Food security is not an abstract concept; it is something that must be built, field by field. And in the north of Israel, that effort carries particular weight: maintaining a strong, living presence on the land.
What You’ll Experience
Hydroponic Strawberry Wall Walk alongside our large-scale vertical strawberry system and pick your own fruit straight from the plant — clean, vibrant, and intensely fresh.
Aquaponics System Discover a closed-loop ecosystem where fish and plants sustain one another. See how water, nutrients, and biology work together to produce greens in a balanced, efficient cycle.
Greenhouse Diversity Tour our greenhouses and sample a wide variety of vegetables grown under carefully managed conditions — where climate, nutrition, and plant health are constantly fine-tuned.
Free-Range Poultry See how chickens and turkeys are meant to be raised: outdoors, foraging naturally, integrated into the farm ecosystem. We supplement their diet with protein from our black soldier fly larvae system — turning waste into nourishment.
Field Crops and Tradition Walk through our olive grove and wheat fields, where we connect to the agricultural rhythms that have defined this land for generations.
Come See It for Yourself
Whether you come to learn, to taste, or simply to reconnect with where your food comes from, the experience is direct and tangible. This is not just a tour. It is an invitation to see what a different kind of agriculture looks like — dynamic and varied, while still deeply connected to the land.
Tours are by appointment only. 30 shekel per person, minimum 20 people.
If you want to go beyond the farm and expand your knowledge of the region, Tamar is an expert and experienced guide who can help you deep-dive into Israel’s north. Visit her site at tamarweissman.com to learn more about her educational tours.
